Вслед за июльскими письмами счастья пришло новое. С письменным уведомлением о расторжении договора о публикации приложения в этом самом магазине. Теперь можно с уверенностью сказать, что Skype Desktop API точно отключат, причём, вероятно, ещё до конца этой осени, ибо Microsoft с означенного момента более не несёт каких-либо юридических обязательств перед разработчиками. Текст письма привожу под катом, но поскольку оно главным образом относится к порядку выплат за проданные копии платных приложений, переводить не считаю нужным.Dear Skype Developer,
Further to Chris Andrew’s communication from July 11th, we wanted to remind you that the Skype App Directory will be shutting down. This email serves as thirty days’ written notice of the Skype Application Directory Agreement. As of Oct 21st, the Skype App Directory will be removed from Skype’s website and any placements throughout Skype properties that drive traffic to the App Directory will be removed.
Referral Revenue shall be payable to Skype for sales of paid applications up until Sept 30th (any applicable Referral Revenue between Oct 1st and Oct 21st will be waived). If this applies to you, please provide the App Directory Team a final Sept sales report by Oct 5th per the usual protocol. Shortly thereafter, the App Directory Team will generate a final invoice reflecting any outstanding amounts owed.
Except for sending the final sales report, no action is required from you. After Oct 21st you can stop hosting your App Directory listing XML file should you choose– it’s at that time we’ll stop crawling the files for content updates.
