It's alive

I suppose all these practices are needed not for you to work in general, but to work in team. While scaling people and team you need them to have common knowledges, common patterns, common mindset to provide similar solutions. You may not need all these practices as long as you play alone like Stephen King writes his novels. But once someone who gives you work realizes that you cannot keep up with speed of rising demand they start thinking that they need i.e. hundred of you. Once each person of this hundred starts to move in they own direction, everything goes to total mess and turns into big loss for the owner of this product.
